ਹਰ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਦਰਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਸਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਸੈਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਪਾਠ ਵੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੈਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਮਿਲ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਖਾਣਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਫ ਸਫਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਪੌਸ਼ਟਿਕਤਾ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਣਾਏ ਖਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਤਾਰੀਫ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਰੁਚੀ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਗੁਣ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਸੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਗੁਣ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਗਵਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਬਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਉਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਘਰ ਦੇ ਬਗੀਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬਾਗਵਾਨੀ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਰੇਨਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
