Introduction -

Gender equality means that men and women have equal rights, both have the same means and opportunities.

If we look at the world, even today in many places women are not given equal rights with men. Girls are not taught much. Women are discriminated against in the means of employment. Women are also victims of domestic violence.

Many parents today consider boys to be better than girls. Which is wrong.

Importance of gender equality -

They are making great strides in countries where men and women have equal rights. With equal rights for girls, they will be able to contribute to the progress of the country. If women come forward in the political arena, they will do something new for the country.

Conclusion -

If the girls are educated then they will be able to go ahead and help in running the family well. With women having equal rights with men a better society will be created. Gender equality is an equal right so women should have equal rights as boys.
